Seamus Seamus Gallagher

Founded the club in 2006 after taking over from Brendan McDaid who retired as senior coach and passed the club onto Seamus. He affilicated the club with the Irish Judo Association and recruited Paul, Donna and Manus, to head up the coaching staff of Samurai Uladh alongside himself.

The highlight of his competive career was representing Ireland at the world student games. He has been coaching judo for over 20 years.

Paul Paul Green Fifth Dan black belt and has been doing judo for over 30 years.In this time he has represented Ireland and Northern Ireland at international level. He has won Irish, British Commonwealth, European and world titles at masters level.
Donna Donna Nash A first Dan black belt and started judo at the age of seven and was a junior international. Coached by Jimmy Lyttle (Longtower J.C).
Manus

Manus O'Donnell

Started judo at 44 years of age, Kyu. Has represented Ireland and Northern Ireand at masters. Is club chairman, 'Father-figure' to all.
